What is a cookie?
Cookies are small files which are stored on a user’s computer. They are designed to hold a modest amount of data specific to a particular client and website, and can be accessed either by the web server or the client computer. This allows the server to deliver a page tailored to a particular user, or the page itself can contain some script which is aware of the data in the cookie and so is able to carry information from one visit to the website (or related site) to the next.
There are two types of cookies:
FIRST PARTY COOKIES
Those which are set by the website owner (Jose Martínez – Tubist & Educator)
THIRD PARTY COOKIES
Those which are not set by the website owner. The websites that set this type of cookies recognise your computer not only when there is access to your website but also when some other websites are visited.
FLASH COOKIES or LOCAL SHARED OBJECTS
Those which facilitate collection and storage of information about your use of this site, help preventing fraud and contribute to other site operations.
Why are cookies used?
It is important to mention that we use both types of cookies. While outside websites serve cookies through our site for advertising, analytics or other purposes, some other cookies, commonly named essential, are needed for technical reasons so that this site operates.
Due to operational, legal or regulatory reasons, we will update this policy from time to time. It is for that reason, that users and visitors should come back for updates in a regular manner.
You might have questions or concerns regarding this policy, hence refer to firstname.lastname@example.org or through the contact form.
